This is the background which I was sent a few days ago. The video was released yesterday – one hour and forty-one minutes in length. This is what you are being prevented from seeing.

As you may be aware, Battleground Melbourne, a feature-length documentary is out in a few days and is free to watch! I think they accumulated over 100 terabytes of data for this one.

Melbourne was voted the World’s Most Liveable City 7 times… now Melbourne is the most locked down city, and has spent the last 2 years being rocked by anti-government protests and unprecedented levels of police violence in return.

Battleground Melbourne tells the story of these protests, the people, the events, the courage, the violence, the hope… through the eyes of the people who were there.

Who are they really? Are they really as bad and evil as the media and politicians claim? Why did they keep going even as police were arresting, assaulting, and shooting them?

You’ve heard the politician’s side of the story, you’ve heard the media’s version of events… now see it through our eyes.

Basically, it is the story how Melbourne went from being the World’s Most Liveable City to an ash heap and dump under Daniel Andrews and his mates. Still, they remain odds-on favourites to win the next election so who is there to blame for any of it?

The politics of the left are largely dishonest and frequently evil. Everything they do is seen by themselves as fair and reasonable, while anything done to prevent the inevitable harm the left creates is seen, by the left, as immoral and wrong. 

Today in America is the first anniversary of Congressional tallying of the electoral college votes of Joe Biden following the almost-certainly stolen presidential election of 2020. This is being commemorated by the American left as an “insurrection” which was nothing more than a demonstration against the theft of the American democracy. 

Ever heard of The Reichstag Fire? This is the American version. Happy Anniversary to the Million Americans Who Came to Washington DC to Protest the Crime of the Century One Year Ago Today. 

One year ago today a million patriotic Americans traveled to Washington DC to protest the greatest crime in American history — The stolen 2020 election.

Don’t listen to what the media trolls tell you. The people who showed up to DC one year ago were there to support the rightful President in peaceful protest.

For some further reflections and an accurate analysis but without the anger that should be a intrinsic element in following what took place:  FINAL THOUGHTS ON JANUARY 6. Here is some of what he writes:

* “January 6” is the most overhyped news story of our time. Kamala Harris’s suggestion that the Capitol riot was equivalent to Pearl Harbor is a historically ignorant joke. The fact is that the Capitol riot, while bad, was not one of the 50 most destructive riots of the last two years.

* The Democrats’ calling the riot an “insurrection” is another bad joke. This is the first insurrection (or “coup,” as the Democrats also say) where not a single person thought to bring a firearm….

* I have no idea who has been arrested and jailed, and what those particular individuals did. Figuring this out is made more difficult by the fact that the government has resisted releasing the many hours of video that it has in its possession. Why might that be? People who actually committed violent actions should be prosecuted; I have no idea how many such people there are. But videos show that many “rioters” were actually invited into the Capitol building by guards. The doors were open and the guards waved them in. They entered the building peacefully, staying between the rope lines and taking selfies….

* Today Joe Biden violated all precedent by viciously attacking his predecessor, Donald Trump. This is outside the bounds of anything we have seen in our democracy, certainly in the modern era. Biden not only attacked Trump, he bragged about defeating him in the 2020 election, claiming that he won by 7 million votes….

* Biden’s statement is true if, and only if, you assume that all votes cast in the 2020 election were legal and proper. But they weren’t. Democrats went to great lengths, including collusive lawsuits in something like 15 states, locking Republican poll watchers out of the buildings where mail-in ballots were being authenticated in Philadelphia and Detroit, and much more, in order to facilitate voter fraud. One can only conclude that voter fraud is an important part of the Democrats’ electoral strategy.

* I think this is the core of what the Democratic Party is trying to achieve with its absurd inflation of the January 6 demonstration/riot. They want to discredit those who worry about election integrity, and to intimidate conservatives who otherwise would press for voter ID, sane mail-in ballot laws, an end to ballot harvesting, and so on.

We, too, have experienced an invasion of Parliament, but it was by the left against a conservative government, which is why the media have never mentioned it since. The supposed “insurrection” of January 6 will never disappear as an element in the rhetorical armory of the American left.

Old Parliament House “set on fire”

The Australian left are as stupid as the American left and just as vicious and malicious. This may be the most disgusting story I may have ever come across in Australia in many years: Old Parliament House’s front door set on fire a second time as protests in Canberra continue. Not even for the first time, but the second time. And if it is the second time, this was no accident but deliberate. What a repulsive lot these people are. I found this particularly striking.

Commander Linda Champion from the Australian Federal Police said the fire likely began during a smoking ceremony performed by protesters, which police were aware of and had approved to occur.

“There was a small smoking ceremony and that is something that we had agreed with a lot of the members who were attending each day as part of a peaceful protest,” she said.

“It then became a little bit out of hand and then when ACT police went to respond, that’s when it was greatly exacerbated.”

A smoking ceremony! In North America I can sort of see the point, since that is where tobacco comes from, peace pipes and all. But here? Such an unimaginative lot who have no ideas other than to destroy, with no concept whatsoever what it takes to build or to cherish one’s heritage and history, never mind the source of our freedoms and prosperity.

Let me bring this added detail up from the comments with much gratitude to Cliff Boof. I knew none of this which will teach once again never to depend on the media to keep me aware of what’s going on.

“The Australian” reports that no arrests have been made.

On 10 August 2021 activists representing Extinction Rebellion committed acts of vandalism in Canberra. On 24 August, four of the activists had all charges “proven but dismissed” by Magistrate James Stewart. Magistrate Stewart remarked to one of the activists, Eric “Sergeio” Herbert, “Your actions arose out of peaceful demonstration to further local, commonwealth and world attention to climate change and the inevitable effects it will have on the world community”. Canberra ‘Duty of Care’ rebels have court cases dismissed or given $20 fines – Extinction Rebellion Australia (ausrebellion.earth)
The above link includes the following statement attributed to Herbert: “Today in the ACT court of law it has been reaffirmed that property damage and public disruption in this rebellion are required to enforce the law and protect the occupants of this land. This outcome has provided me with the unimpeachable understanding that the ACT Judiciary are willing to stand behind us as we enact our lawful indispensable duty to bring down this government through. That is our Duty of Care.”

So it will be interesting to see, if arrests are eventually made, how the ACT judiciary will react.

P.S. This bloke Herbert tried a similar trick in Newcastle a month later and was arrested but unfortunately for him Mark Latham’s missus was the Magistrate.

Chile is apparently about to elect a socialist government

You would think that Venezuela would present the strongest imaginable case for caution in handing an economy over to the left. You would think the case would be most understood in Latin America. But here we are, with Chile, the strongest economy in Latin America about to go left as it did once before. Economic ignorance is so massive. You would really like one of these political leaders to explain how their economy functions. They would not have a clue, but neither would their voting population.

Chileans vote today for a new president and there’s a risk that a Venezuelan-style leftist, Gabriel Boric, will prevail.

Amazing. Sad, stupid, but amazing. Must be similar to the voting public in Victoria.

 

Twitter’s policy for removing “false or misleading information” about Covid

You may not use Twitter’s services to share false or misleading information about COVID-19 which may lead to harm. 

Even as scientific understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, we’ve observed the emergence of persistent conspiracy theories, alarmist rhetoric unfounded in research or credible reporting, and a wide range of false narratives and unsubstantiated rumors, which left uncontextualized can prevent the public from making informed decisions regarding their health, and puts individuals, families and communities at risk.

Content that is demonstrably false or misleading and may lead to significant risk of harm (such as increased exposure to the virus, or adverse effects on public health systems) may not be shared on Twitter. This includes sharing content that may mislead people about the nature of the COVID-19 virus; the efficacy and/or safety of preventative measures, treatments, or other precautions to mitigate or treat the disease; official regulations, restrictions, or exemptions pertaining to health advisories; or the prevalence of the virus or risk of infection or death associated with COVID-19. 

What is in violation of this policy?

In order for content related to COVID-19 to considered violative under this policy, it must: 

  • advance a claim of fact, expressed in definitive terms; 
  • be demonstrably false or misleading, based on widely available, authoritative sources; and
  • be likely to impact public safety or cause serious harm

Tweet Removal

We may require customers to delete Tweets that are found to violate this policy and are severely harmful. We may also temporarily lock you out of your account before you can Tweet or share information again. These tweets will accrue 2 strikes in accordance with our strike policy stated below. We will require the deletion of Tweets that contain, for example: 

  1. False claims about COVID-19 that invoke a deliberate conspiracy by malicious and/or powerful forces, such as:
    • The pandemic is a hoax, or part of a deliberate attempt at population control, or that 5G wireless technology is causing COVID-19. 
    • COVID-19 is not a real disease.
    • Immunizations are part of a global surveillance, population control or depopulation effort.
    • Vaccines (in general) are dangerous and the adverse effects that have been covered up by governments/the medical industry.
    • Vulnerable groups (such as pregnant women, the elderly, or children) are being experimented on.
    • That COVID-19 vaccines are causing magnetic reactions in individuals who have been vaccinated. 
    • That vaccines approved by health agencies (such as Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine in the United States) did not actually receive full approval/authorization, and therefore that the vaccines are untested, “experimental” or somehow unsafe.
  2. Claims that specific groups or people (or other demographically-identifiable identity) are more or less prone to be infected or to develop adverse symptoms on the basis of their membership in that group;
  3. False or misleading claims about potentially harmful and unapproved treatments or preventative measures, for example, that chlorine dioxide or Povidone-iodine can be used as a prophylactic or in the treatment of COVID-19. 
  4. False or misleading information about official regulations, restrictions, or exemptions pertaining to health advisories.
  5. Any efforts to promote, advertise, facilitate the sale of, or provide instructions on how to create fraudulent vaccination cards (or other digital records) or “exemption cards.”
  6. False information about widely accepted testing methodologies, such as that PCR tests are unable to detect the virus.
  7. False claims that suggest that vaccines contain deadly and severely harmful ingredients.
  8. False affiliation – Accounts which misrepresent their affiliation, or share content that falsely represents its affiliation to a medical practitioner, public health official or agency, research institution, or that falsely suggests expertise on COVID-19 issues.

How do those who censor such posts know whether any of the statements made is false? They don’t, of course.

Lucille Ball was suspected of being a communist!

I have friends who are reading a just-published book about the execution of Ethel Rosenberg for espionage in 1953. On the left, every issue from which more mileage can be driven remains alive forever and is stoked to the fullest extent thereafter. Of course, there is no doubt whatsoever that her husband, Julius, had passed on information on the building of the atomic bomb to the Soviets at a time when the Soviet Union was imposing communist regimes on each of the nations it had overrun at the end of World War II, and that she had assisted in the espionage. This is from Wikipedia which like most other sources of “information” on the net is heavily weighted to the left. 

For decades, the Rosenbergs’ sons (Michael and Robert Meeropol) and many other defenders maintained that Julius and Ethel were innocent of spying on their country and were victims of Cold War paranoia. After the fall of the Soviet Union, much information concerning them was declassified, including a trove of decoded Soviet cables (code-name: Venona), which detailed Julius’s role as a courier and recruiter for the Soviets. Ethel’s role was as an accessory who helped recruit her brother David into the spy ring and did clerical tasks such as typing up documents that Julius then passed to the Soviets. 

Guilty, guilty, guilty. 

So why bring this up? Because of this movie review which I saw in The Age today: Being the Ricardos is near flawless – and Nicole Kidman is magnificent. “Being the Ricardos” is a new film starring Nicole Kidman about Lucille Ball and her husband, Desi Arnaz. And this is the first line of the review:

The idea that Lucille Ball was suspected of being a communist tells us more about America in 1952 than it does about Ball, which is of course why Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing) made this movie.

So in 2021 they made a movie about someone who had been suspected of being a communist almost seventy years ago. And why did they suspect her? Because she had registered as a member of the communist party for the American election of 1936. Here are the facts, but from a different source.

In 1952, HUAC accused Ball of being a Communist. Ball had registered to vote as a Communist in 1936. But Ball explained to the committee that she only did so to placate her dying grandfather, who was fond of Eugene Debs, a labor organizer and Socialist Party candidate for president. The committee subsequently dropped the charges.

Imagine suspecting that someone who had registered to vote for the communist party of being a communist. Did not seem to stop her from achieving lasting success and enduring fame.

The Age article goes on with the usual ignorant discussion which never seems to vary.

This is Sorkin’s handbook for writers interested in comedy or drama. That’s as much its purpose as the politics of McCarthyism….

This movie shines with a beautiful silver light; the kind of movie brilliance we haven’t seen since that other HUAC-kicking masterpiece, Good Night, and Good Luck, in which politics, history and culture entwined.

Senator McCarthy was in the Senate. HUAC stood for the House Un-American Activities Committee. McCarthy was a Republican Senator. HUAC was a committee in the House of Representatives dominated by Democrats. Virtually everything of significance McCarthy ever said has since been demonstrated to have been true. That HUAC was filled with Democrats has been written out of the script in the same way that Lucille Ball actually having voted for the Communist Party in 1936 is passed by.

If you would like to read the absolutely best book available on all this, I cannot recommend more highly Diana West’s astonishingly fascinating and comprehensive American Betrayal.

Meanwhile, inconvenient FACTS, such as that Jussie Smollett faked his supposed attack by Trump supporters has virtually entirely disappeared from the news. We truly do live in an Orwellian world. 

Socialist Left taking over Victorian Labor

That’s what the headline should be. This is what we find instead: Dan warned over party bloodshed which completely misleads any potential reader about what is going on. Here’s the sentence that matters.

The administrative body – controlled by Daniel Andrews’ Socialist Left faction … is looking to oust several “internal enemies”.

“Oust several internal enemies” means getting rid of soft left Members of Parliament to replace them with members from the the hard left. Further down the page we find this:

One Labor MP said people in the Right targeted for destruction would be forced to leave the party because they “are being accorded no right to exist”.

Party bloodshed is just what Andrews wants. Socialism is the natural home of the stupid. Utter fools. Other than, of course, the leaders of these factions, who are predatory wolves who know how to politicise their way to the top.
