“There is a duty to refuse” Covid-19 vaccines

Archbishop Vigano Denounces The Coronavirus Vaccine: ‘There Is A Duty To Refuse It’, (who is Abp Vigano?), said the following.

“The Note on the morality of using some anti-Covid-19 vaccines was issued last year in the absence of complete data on both the nature of the gene serum and its components,” Vigano writes in his letter to the bishops and others, in which Vigano exposes the faulty “safety and effectiveness of the vaccines,” argues that “the experimental drugs are not vaccines in the proper sense,” and raises alarms about “side effects on pregnant mothers and nursing children.”

“In this case, the health authorities have decided to carry out experimentation on the entire world population, as an exception to the usual practice of the scientific community, international standards, and the laws of individual nations. This means that the entire population finds itself in the condition of being susceptible to suffering the adverse effects of the vaccine, at their own risk, when normally experimentation is done on a voluntary basis and carried out on a limited number of subjects, who are paid to undergo it,” Vigano writes. “…I think it is evident that there are medical treatments without adverse side-effects, even though they have been systematically boycotted by the Health Institutions – WHO, CDC, EMA – and by mainstream media.”

“Having established that the drugs sold as vaccines do not give any significant benefit and on the contrary may cause a very high percentage of deaths or grave pathologies even in subjects for whom Covid does not represent a threat, I do not think that we can conclude that there is any proportionality between the potential damages and the potential benefits. This means therefore that there is a grave moral obligation to refuse inoculation as a possible and proximate cause of permanent damages or death. In the absence of benefits, there is therefore no need to expose oneself to the risks of its administration, but on the contrary there is a duty to refuse it categorically,” Vigano writes.

There’s much more at the link. There is this as well: Abp. Viganò warns US bishops about COVID jab: The Great Reset wants ‘billions of chronically ill people’. This is the subhead for the article.

The silence of so many cardinals and bishops, along with the inconceivable promotion of the vaccination campaign by the Holy See, represents a form of unprecedented complicity that cannot continue any longer.

Not your standard-issue conspiracy theorist.

The toxic avoidance of truth on the left

The article is titled The Ignoble Lie. It begins about the original defence of political lying going back to Socrates and Plato, but what really interested me was this part about vaxxination rates required in dealing with the pandemic.

Take Dr. Anthony Fauci, our point man on the COVID-19 epidemic.

Fauci said he misled the country about mask-wearing during the pandemic by claiming they were of little use. But he argued that he lied in order that the public not make a run on masks, deplete the supply, and thus rob medical professionals of protective equipment.

Fauci also told “noble” lies about the likely percentage of the public needing to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity. He kept raising the bar—from 60-70 percent to 75-80 percent, to 85 percent.

Apparently, Fauci feared a lower figure, even if accurate, might lull people into complacency about getting inoculated.

If a 60-70 per cent vaxxination rate will do, why worry when we are well passed that rate? Unless there is some other agenda in play, of course.

Take Florida as the example the left tries to avoid talking about (like Sweden). What can the left do with this? Here is the first half of the heading: Florida now has America’s lowest COVID rate.It begins:

Which U.S. state has the lowest COVID-19 rate right now? …

The state with the fewest daily COVID cases per capita is the same one that recently had more than any other: Florida….

During the past two months, Florida’s daily average has plummeted by more than 90 percent, to about 1,700 cases, or eight for every 100,000 residents. That’s roughly half of California’s current COVID rate and less than a quarter of Vermont’s. Hawaii (with nine cases for every 100,000 residents) is the only other state in single digits.

A positive story. Not on the left, it isn’t. Here’s the second half of the heading: “Does Ron DeSantis deserve credit?”

The answer is no.

Bet you knew that was coming. And why not?

According to the New York Times’s David Leonhardt, “Covid has often followed a regular — if mysterious — cycle. In one country after another, the number of new cases has often surged for roughly two months before starting to fall.” And “the Delta variant, despite its intense contagiousness, has followed this pattern.”

Why it hasn’t happened anywhere else is neither here nor there and anyways, more people are dying which is perhaps not that surprising in a state where so many retirees end up living.

My point, though, is that you cannot get an accurate assessment anywhere. I would love to know how dangerous covid is but it is impossible to find out. I do, however, find the following chart of interest. From here.

AND THIS JUST IN: Florida Reaches Lowest Case Rate in the Nation.

“Without mandates or lockdowns, COVID-19 cases in Florida have decreased 90% since August,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “In addition to cases, hospitalizations have plummeted in our state. This has been accomplished by making monoclonal antibody treatments and vaccines widely available throughout our state while protecting Floridians from government overreach.”

It’s not “pandemic legislation”

There is a “can’t-happen-here” attitude even as it is happening. A just-in story in The Age: New pandemic legislation passes Victorian Parliament’s lower house. The legislation has nothing to do with medical care. It is entirely about Daniel Andrews taking power into his own hands. Here’s the story.

Victoria’s new pandemic laws passed State Parliament’s Labor-controlled lower house on Thursday evening following two days of heated debate in which MPs hurled abuse at one another across the chamber.

Earlier in the day, Premier Daniel Andrews responded to criticism from the president of the Victorian Bar saying the claim by Christopher Blanden, QC, that the government had not properly consulted the barristers’ peak body about the legislation was “factually wrong”.

[The issue is NOT whether there was proper consultation. The issue is whether such legislation should ever be introduced into a free society.]

The government’s proposed pandemic legislation will replace state of emergency powers which expire on December 15, curtailing the chief health officer’s powers, giving the premier the authority to declare a pandemic and the health minister the role of making public health orders.

[And what follows from the Premier declaring a state of emergency? Are these provisions acceptable is the issue.]

The bill passed by 51 votes to 26.

The opposition, many crossbench MPs, and legal groups have raised concerns about various aspects of the legislation, including what they say is a lack of checks and balances on the government’s powers.

[More detail would be welcome.]

Mr Blanden on Wednesday described the proposed laws as “appalling” and claimed the government had “grossly misrepresented” its consultation with the Victorian Bar.

He said the Department of Health officials conducted a 45-minute online meeting with him to discuss the issue of whether the chief health officer should retain the authority to declare a pandemic.

“That’s factually wrong,” Mr Andrews said. “There’s a lot of [online Microsoft Teams] meetings going on at the moment, we’re in a global pandemic. I’m terribly sorry if a Teams meeting wasn’t sufficient, there’s literally hundreds of thousands of Teams meetings.

The upper house will debate the bill in Parliament in three weeks and it is likely to pass with the approval of Samantha Ratnam, Fiona Patten and Andy Meddick, who were involved in the negotiations.

And there you have it. Why are so few people concerned? Why is The Age unconcerned?

America Gone Mad

This is part of Conrad Black discussing America Gone Mad.

No one could foresee that, just 30 years after the hammer-and-sickle was hauled down over the Kremlin and Russia reverted to the European borders that it had held when it was only the Grand Duchy of Muscovy 400 years ago, the international Left would have taken over the conservation and ecology bandwagon and manipulated the leading capitalist countries into a savage assault on their own economies to reduce carbon emissions. No one could have anticipated that some African Americans would have celebrated their emancipation and the elevation of an African American president by lionizing antiwhite extremists and producing policing policies that have facilitated a vertiginous spike in violent crime in America.

Even two years ago no one could have foreseen that the Chinese would inadvertently release a virus which the entire Western world would obligingly respond to by shutting down almost their entire economy for a year and increasing the money supply by 30 percent—producing an economic upheaval that will linger for a long time. And there is no precedent for the completely avoidable and shaming debacle of the American defection from its own alliance and helter-skelter flight from Afghanistan, leaving thousands of desperate people of many nationalities who had relied upon the United States, to fend for themselves against the new terrorist regime that seized power there (and $85 billion of U.S. military hardware along with it).

No one could have foreseen that the egregious chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley—who appears to have been stuffed into his over-decorated tunic and bears more evidences of military distinction than victorious five-star combat generals George C. Marshall, Douglas MacArthur, and Dwight D. Eisenhower combined—would promise his Chinese analogue that he would warn him if President Trump intended to attack China, that he agreed with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that his commander-in-chief (Trump) was insane, that he would proudly help institute “diversity, equity, and inclusion” lessons in the Armed Forces, and that he would inform a congressional committee while under oath that he had warned Biden about the dangers of his Afghan policy (warnings the president professes not to have received).

And this is how he ends.

Despite my substantial agreement with their concerns, I vigorously attempted to defend the American interest. The best I could do was to remind them that the United States was the most successful country in history and always worked out its problems and that even after three more years of this ramshackle defeatism, a nation as great as America could quickly be restored to its traditional confidence and solidity. I was not entirely persuasive: my knowledgeable British and European friends not only do not think America is back, they think it has gone mad.

I just think its leadership has sold out to the Chinese who must be amazed at such an array of traitorous scum at the top of the American political system.

Do the clowns at The Age even know what freedom is?

Here is this story about the totalitarian takeover of Victoria by its utterly mad premier: Victorian Bar slams ‘appalling’ new pandemic laws and there in the middle of the story we find this as an insert in the midst of the story:

Victoria edges closer to freedom

The Victorian government has announced changes to the road map from Friday, October 29, as the state will reach its 80 per cent double dose vaccination target almost a week ahead of schedule. Here’s how some of the restrictions will ease when the 90 per cent double dose vaccination target is reached for people 12 years and over – now predicted to occur around Wednesday, November 24.

Victoria is in no sense whatsoever edging towards anything other than a fascist state. The actual situation is that we are moving very far away from freedom and into government by decree. This is actually where we now find ourselves.

The president of the Victorian Bar has slammed the state’s new pandemic legislation as “appalling” and claims the government “grossly misrepresented” its consultation with the barristers’ peak body.

Christopher Blanden, QC, said the new laws, designed to replace sweeping state of emergency powers, would give the Premier unprecedented power with little to no checks and balances.

“Stasi police would have been more than happy with the range of powers if they were given it,” Mr Blanden told The Age. “It’s extraordinary.”

Meanwhile, to the extent they are able, the Victorian Opposition has come to life: Victorian parliament descends into chaos ahead of public health laws debate.

Victorian politicians have screamed at each other and yelled insults across the table during a heated discussion over proposed pandemic laws that are set to bring unprecedented powers to the Victorian Premier and Health Minister if passed this week.

Premier Daniel Andrews was labelled a “dictator” during the chaotic screaming match between Labor and Liberal politicians amid a push to delay debate of the new pandemic powers the government is hoping to rush through parliament over three days this week.

The proposed laws, introduced to state parliament on Tuesday, would give the Premier power to declare a pandemic for three months at a time and allow Health Minister Martin Foley to sign off on public health orders without the approval of the chief health officer.

The insanity of it all is that I know far too many on the Labor side of things who do not see any problem whatsoever in anything Andrews has done or is doing. These may be the most politically ignorant people I have ever met and there are plenty of them out there.

And since you won’t find this anywhere else, these are some of the details of the proposed legislation via Opposition Leader  Matthew Guy.

Victorians are today witnessing the most extreme, dangerous and excessive laws ever brought before our state.

In one Bill, Daniel Andrews is attempting to sideline the Victorian Chief Health Officer and grant himself unchecked power to declare a State of Emergency and decree health orders based on an individual’s age, gender, sexual orientation and political belief or activity.

This legislation would remove any consideration of the impact of lockdowns, restrictions or penalties on equal opportunity or human rights laws, bypass Cabinet and Parliamentary approvals and place enormous power in the hands of one person.

Under these laws Victorians face a $21,909 fine for failing to wear a face mask and business a $109,044 fine if a customer fails to check-in properly.

These new laws aren’t about streamlining State of Emergency powers but about making it easier for the State Government to control people’s lives.

Daniel Andrews wouldn’t be passing these laws unless he planned on using them. The thought of handing even more power to the person who got us into this mess is simply unacceptable.

This extreme legislation is a threat to every Victorian family, small business and local community. It must be stopped.

The Victorian Liberal Nationals will stand up for Victorians and oppose this dangerous legislation.

The Fascist Government of Victoria

Ever wonder how fascists were able to run one-party states in Europe? Come to Victoria and find out for yourself.

Daniel Andrews is the stupidest clod I have ever seen in politics. He knows only force and never reason. He just tells people what to do and threatens them with absurdly high fines and now two years in jail for things that are perfectly legal all over the rest of the world.

From the Herald-Sun this morning: Two Year Jail Threat of course for only “the most egregious offences”.

Twenty-nine years is a long time in politics

It’s clear that focus groups and polling have demonstrated to the Libs that they must first show up in Glasgow and then must support the 2050 Zero Emissions target. This they must do irrespective of what they personally believe if they are to win the next election.

But that is to win the moron vote in our cities. So we now have this: Scott Morrison books in economic check-ups for regions which begins:

The Productivity Commission will conduct five-year reviews assessing the economic impacts of a 2050 net-zero-emissions target on regional and rural communities under a climate change safeguard mechanism adopted by cabinet on Monday night.

But why only look at the impact on regional and rural communities? How about the rest of us? Politics may be the art of the possible, and with global warming a worldwide mania, you have to at least pretend you care. But once we are into looking at the impact, why not look at the impact on the whole economy? But there is at least this:

Resources Minister Keith Pitt — an opponent of the 2050 target — was elevated to cabinet on Monday under the deal struck between Mr Morrison and Mr Joyce, leaving the Nationals now holding five out of 24 cabinet spots.

By being an opponent of the 2050 target, I can only hope he’s not an opponent of the target because he thinks 2050 is too far off.

Petition to ensure the immediate repeal of the TGA statement on Ivermectin

For background there is firstly this.

There was a bit of a kerfuffle in Indonesia in June this year. A philanthropist wanted to hand out free ivermectin, but was closed down by the Indonesian Government.

Covid cases continued rising, and government policy on ivermectin flipped to approval on 15th July. Then what happened? The [Australian] media have been deathly quiet on the subject: the Indonesians have almost wiped covid out in their country.

Indonesian covid cases, from March 2020 to 19th October, 2021

Then, with these figures in mind, read this: It’s time Morrison and Hunt stopped Australians dying by denying them early treatment to Covid. It’s a link to a petition to our Government with this as the preamble.

Ivermectin has not just saved lives, but virtually eliminated Covid-19 from  Uttar Pradesh, and Indonesia.  Some 3.8 billion doses of what’s been called a “wonder drug” have been used around the world. This is a drug so safe we have fed it to school children in Canberra. In the last three months Indonesian doctors used ivermectin to cut Covid cases by 98% but at the same time Australia banned ivermectin and relied on vaccination and oppressive lockdowns yet grew cases 500%.

If countries larger, poorer and more densely populated can use Ivermectin why can’t Australian doctors prescribe it? Do we give Australian doctors the best education in the world so that they are nothing but robots controlled by an unaccountable committee, or will we allow Doctors to provide the best treatment they believe their patients need?In 30 Random Controlled Trialsivermectin prevented 84% of infections. In early treatment it helped 63% of people.

Instead of 160,000 cases in Australia, with widespread ivermectin use we could have reduced that just 25,000 and stopped the lockdowns after weeks instead of months.Australia has no early treatment, we are abandoning people to a virus that almost certainly leaked from a Chinese laboratory.  The TGA did not even ban Ivermectin because Australians with prescriptions might be hurt by it, they banned a safe drug because “people might not get vaxed”Are Australian lives the first concern of Morrison and Hunt, or are the profits of Big Pharmaceutical companies more important? Judge them by their actions.Indonesia banned ivermectin then relented when a few key politicians championed the cause. Australia can do that too.Contact Your PM | Prime Minister of AustraliaContact the Premier (NSW)

This is the Petition Reason.

On 11th September 2021 the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) took the unprecedented step of effectively banning the prescribing of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 infection in Australia. Contrary to ill-informed media reporting, ivermectin is an important drug which has been used clinically worldwide for several decades, it is on the WHO list of Essential Drugs and has a wide margin of safety compared to most other drugs (including over the counter medications). This petition objects in the strongest possible terms to the banning of ivermectin prescribing for COVID-19 for the following reasons: (1) The banning of ivermectin prescribing ignores the wealth of published clinical trial safety and efficacy evidence in the medical literature supporting the use of ivermectin for the management of COVID-19; (2) The banning of ivermectin prescribing removes a potentially valuable early treatment option for symptomatic COVID-19-infected individuals, in contrast to current health policy of observing such individuals without active treatment until they either get better or worse (and are possibly hospitalized); (3) The banning of ivermectin prescribing for COVID-19 with the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship and the freedom of Australians to choose their own health solutions based on their doctor’s advice.

Petition Request

We therefore ask the House to ensure the immediate repeal of the TGA statement on Ivermectin, and to provide a firm assurance to the Australian?people that overreach of this kind by a Federal Government agency will never again limit access to safe treatments in a non-consultative and?unilateral?manner.

If you would like to sign the petition, go to this link.

Reckless disregard for the lives of others is unofficial government policy

Of course, it’s only the UK so who cares? From this post which is titled: Official Data shows many more people have died due to the Covid-19 Vaccines in 8 months than people who have died of Covid-19 in 18 months. It’s just data.

What people actually ask, did I personally die from the vaxxine? If they didn’t, they just go on with nothing to complain about. And if they did, they don’t complain either.

And as anyone on the official side of the ledger will tell you, whatever harm there has been, it’s been rare. Reckless disregard for the lives of others is just how it goes in the public service.

Invade Australia

This is how the vid is described at YouTube:

Tim, Ian, Luke, and Lydia join lawyers David ‘Viva’ Freihert and Robert Barnes to examine Candace Owens’ joke about invading Australia and the mainstream media’s disproportionate response.

Apparently she wasn’t serious about invading Australia. But the rest of them were pretty serious about what they thought about Australia, its people and our governments. They were not kind.

The video is taken from Small Dead Animals where there are a number of questions that no one will answer but would be fun to ask.

  • How many months/years do they plan to keep on wearing masks?
  • Double-vaccinated people currently have full freedom to go to restaurants, bars, get on trains & flights, etc.  When the next booster shot becomes mandatory, do they realize that not taking it will make them “unworthy”?
  • How frequently are they prepared to accept “booster” injections into their bodies? Yearly?  Monthly?
  • If their government demands a contact tracing app be installed on their phones, will they comply?  Will they respond within 15 minutes to every message from Big Brother?
  • If such apps are “upgraded” to constantly monitor all audio and new laws are passed to jail anyone who doesn’t keep these apps running 24/7, will they comply?
  • If a social credit system is installed in their country, will they alter their behavior to not offend their masters?

No one has any idea where this will end. The notion that we have regained our freedom only shows that we may never have really had it in the first place.

Then there is this question that has been asked by David Archibald: Is Australia The Stupidest Country On The Planet? I’m sure it’s only rhetorical, but this is what is found at the link.

There was a bit of a kerfuffle in Indonesia in June this year. A philanthropist wanted to hand out free ivermectin, but was closed down by the Indonesian Government.

Covid cases continued rising, and government policy on ivermectin flipped to approval on 15th July. Then what happened? The media have been deathly quiet on the subject: the Indonesians have almost wiped covid out in their country.

Indonesian covid cases, from March 2020 to 19th October, 2021

Approval for ivermectin was given on 15th July. Daily cases peaked three days later at 50,039. They started falling precipitously to a low of 924 on 19th October.  Indonesia has a population of 277 million people.

And what’s his conclusion?

What does this mean? It means that Australia could end its covid problem anytime it wanted to at hardly any expense at all. Our government would be aware of what the Indonesians have achieved. It also means that any covid deaths from here on are state-sanctioned murder. Anybody dead or crippled due to the vaccines is not an unfortunate, random side effect, but something done at the behest of the Australian Government, not unwittingly.

You can be sure this has been poll-driven and focus-grouped to the farthest reaches and the government is behaving just as it has been asked to do. What was that question again, David?
