Craig Kelly discusses the case for Ivermectin

Of all things, I found the video of Craig Kelly discussing Ivermectin in Parliament on Small Dead Animals, which is a Canadian blog site. As much chance of seeing any of this on our local media as seeing Katie Hopkins. This is not only a matter of life and death, but a matter of our personal freedoms which are being robbed from us. I have tried to start the vid at the same point found at SDA at the 9:00 minute mark, but all twelve minutes of the presentation deal with Ivermectin. You will have to move the dial to the nine minute point to see what they are showing at SDA which is quite a story.

AND I’LL JUST ADD THIS: This is a discussion of the trials they did on Ivermectin in Argentina.

Based in the southern end of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, Eurnekian Public Hospital recently sponsored a clinical trial targeting COVID-19 called the IVERCAR study. The sponsor was joined by other local hospitals acting as trial site organizations. With study results in, the Argentinian group has discovered that while in the control group, 58% of the participants were infected with COVID-19 during the trial, but the intervention arm (carrageenan plus ivermectin) revealed that the compound’s virucidal effects can actually protect patients against SARS-CoV-2 and serve as a sort of prophylaxis. These study results follow up on other positive results out of another randomized controlled study out of Egypt published by TrialSite last week.

Covid provocateurs

Such buffoons, my country: Australian Border Force investigates Katie Hopkins quarantine breach as controversial Brit dropped from Big Brother.

British provocateur Katie Hopkins has been dropped from Australia’s upcoming ‘Big Brother VIP’ and is being investigated by the Australian Border Force after she claimed to have purposefully broken strict quarantine rules.

Hopkins caused a storm of controversy on Saturday after she announced that she had landed in Sydney and was now in mandatory quarantine, despite the fact that tens of thousands of Australians are still stranded abroad and unable to return home due to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s strict Covid-19 pandemic entry caps.

Hopkins’ arrival caused further anger when she claimed in an Instagram video to have intentionally broken strict quarantine requirements by opening her hotel room door naked without a face mask when hotel employees bring her food, in an effort to “frighten the s*** out of them.”

The British television personality soon faced calls for her deportation from Australian citizens and politicians alike and now appears to be in hot water with authorities over the incident.

Of course we have provocateurs of our own, the blesséd Nick Cater: Boris Johnson leads the way on Covid rules – are we game to follow?

The expert class turned out in force last week with pessimistic predictions about the nightmare soon to be visited upon British hospitals and mortuaries because of the Prime Minister’s latest folly.

A letter signed by 100 medical experts in The Lancet accused Boris Johnson’s government of “embarking on a dangerous and unethical experiment” by ending social distancing rules. Mike Ryan, head of the World Health Organisation’s Health Emergencies Program, said the rush to reopen the economy amounted to “moral emptiness and epidemiological stupidity”.

Johnson’s courage in defying the experts is a virtue that should be emulated by political leaders closer to home. In Britain, Johnson revives the Dunkirk spirit, fighting Covid-19 on the beaches, landing grounds, fields and in the streets. In Australia, premiers call on their subjugated citizens to fight the virus from their couches.

Experts in the Chinese Flu have been discredited across the world, replaced by the likes of Nick and Katie Hopkins.

Australia is the featured Zero Covid Catastrophe

Image

Does this sound like anywhere you are familiar with: ‘Zero COVID’ catastrophe: participating nations see new records across the board?

Zero COVID, the idea that heavy-handed government edicts and population controls can permanently eliminate a coronavirus from a country, is now failing spectacularly everywhere it is being tried. You might not read about it in western corporate press agencies, but Zero COVID nations are seeing explosions in COVID-19 cases across the board. The widely praised “success story” countries that followed the radical ideology that is Zero COVID have not only failed to contain a virus, but are now witnessing the uncontrolled spread of that virus in their population centers. The governments committed to this pseudoscientific, totalitarian adventure are scrambling for options, and responding by locking down their nations and further violating the rights of their citizens. The lid has flown off the Zero COVID pressure cooker, revealing the shortcomings of such a reckless ideological endeavor.

Guess what? Australia is the featured example!!

Australia Australia is arguably the most dedicated large nation to a Zero COVID strategy. The country has been closed off from the vast majority of the world since the beginning of COVID Mania. Even many Australian citizens have been unable to enter or leave the country. Australia has pursued so many lockdowns that it’s pretty much impossible to keep track of what number we’re currently at. Zero COVID has been an unmitigated disaster, as Canberra’s elimination strategy has unsurprisingly failed to permanently move cases to zero. Twitter avatar for @ianmSCIM @ianmSC Sydney announced today that they’re extending their lockdown again after the initial order & first extension failed to control the outbreak I really do think they’re getting close though, maybe just a few thousand more lockdowns and they’ll finally eliminate COVID from the earth

On Thursday, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia’s two largest cities, enacted yet another lockdown. This will be Melbourne’s fifth lockdown in the span of a year and a half. Australia’s lockdowns have been infamously ruthless.  In some places, lockdowns meant citizens were only allowed to leave their homes for one hour a day, and they were not allowed to travel outside of a certain radius from their homes. In many places, the act of protesting is illegal, and it will be met with by riot police. Australia has also enacted mandatory quarantine camps for citizens who are privileged enough to be allowed to return to the country.

I think they’re laughing at us, but it really is a tragedy. This is the summary from the end of the article.

Every country that has embraced the radical notion of Zero COVID has ended up failing to contain a virus and/or failing to accept that the costs of attempting to contain a virus have been exponentially worse than the benefits of containing the virus. The promised “cures” have been infinitely worse than the disease. There are no longer any “success stories” involving nations using tyrannical means in an attempt to stop a virus. Zero COVID, as any rational person could have predicted a long time ago, has failed in spectacular fashion.

Similar to the NBN, then, is it?

Can COVID-19 vaccines connect me to the internet?

COVID-19 vaccines do not – and cannot – connect you to the internet. Some of the mRNA vaccines being developed include the use of a material called a hydrogel, which might help disperse the vaccine slowly into our cells. Bioengineers have used similar hydrogels for many years in different ways. For instance, they’ve used them to help stem cells survive after being put inside our bodies. Because of this, some people believe that hydrogels are needed for electronic implants, which can connect to the internet. The Pfizer mRNA vaccine does not use hydrogels as a component. The Pfizer mRNA vaccine contains a piece of mRNA which is coated in a lipid (fatty) droplet. The lipid helps the vaccine enter our cells, as the membrane holding our cells together is also made mostly of lipid. The vaccine and the membrane can fuse easily, depositing the mRNA inside the cell. With new COVID-19 vaccine developments every day, it’s normal to have questions or concerns, and possibly feel hesitant about getting a vaccine. That’s why we’re providing accurate, evidence-based answers to questions about COVID-19 vaccines. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccines

Fear around the virus was “way out of proportion to the actual threat”

Picked up at Small Dead Animals in Canada, but it’s about us, and includes the video above of Chris Kenny: Fear and Loathing Down Under. The note with the video on Youtube reads as follows:

The Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater says the “fear factor” over COVID-19 is “out of hand” after a poll revealed people believe on average there is a 38 per cent chance of dying from the Delta strain.

Mr Cater said it was clear to him the fear around the virus was “way out of proportion for the actual threat” but the figures are surprising. “I had no idea until I saw this polling conducted this week that it was that high … that people actually think there’s a 38 per cent chance of them dying from the Delta variant,” he said.

He said a main cause of the fear is the government’s actions which causes unnecessary panic in the public. “It’s natural that people are fearful, but I think their fear is only exaggerated when governments do really exaggerated things … like locking down for one case in South Australia. “Of course people are going to start thinking this thing’s dangerous.”

While I’m at it, I will include a number of comments from SDA.

We’ve all been promised … granular data … by our unelected Ministers of Health. Deep State bureaucrats dedicated to “keeping us safe”. But what they are NOT doing is “keeping us informed” … they’re keeping us FRIGHTENED. Why? Because it’s a proven methodology to keep us obeying the centralized State. Their words don’t match the data. Not even close. Their words don’t match the science … not even close. This is all FEAR PORN rhetoric … without a speck of science. Kinda like how our West Coast Heat Wave is part and parcel of our 2-year “drought” which is all “caused” by global warming and our sinful cooking with Nat. Gas.

They can call it a vaccine, but, from their own literature, it does not do any kind of job of preventing the illness. Call it an experimental gene therapy as it does not have full approval or testing anywhere in the world. Those getting the jab are the trial. And with the number of people getting COVID after the jab, and the number of adverse reactions, in previous times, it would have been stopped post haste.

It’s a rotating circus. The Powers that Be are going, “They aren’t acting scared enough, we must lie to them!” The Mob are going, “They are lying to us… we can’t trust a word they say….”

“This new position will be integral to our effort to win the November 2022 election”

Well, here’s news: Michael O’Brien’s Chief of Staff shown the door.

OPPOSITION leader Michael O’Brien’s chief of staff has been sidelined following a review of his office. Mr O’Brien on Friday announced Brett Hogan would leave his team and take up an inaugural appointment as director of public policy for the Victorian Liberal Party.

It follows a review of the workings of Mr O’Brien’s office by Liberal Party heavyweight Brian Loughnane amid concerns it was not functioning effectively. Several MPs have told the Herald Sun there were longheld concerns about Mr Hogan, with several pushes to have him moved out of the role.

But Mr O’Brien had remained fiercely loyal to his chief of staff, who started when he took over as leader in 2018. Mr Hogan had previously worked as deputy chief of staff in former leader Matthew Guy’s office. In an email to staff, Mr O’Brien said Mr Hogan would remain a valuable part of the Liberal Party team. He would be responsible for identifying policy opportunities, conducting policy research, and overseeing the preparation of a policy platform ahead of the 2022 election.

“This new position will be integral to our effort to win the November 2022 election,” Mr O’Brien said. “Brett will be working closely with my office, shadow ministers and MPs to ensure that our policy platform offers Victorians a clear choice and a real plan for the future of Victoria.”

He said Mr Hogan’s service was “outstanding”. A recruitment process is underway to find a replacement.

It would be better than excellent if the Libs really did take over in Victoria.

Vaccine passports a No Go Area

The most notable feature of Scott Morrison is how lacking in awareness he often seems to be, but with this we are heading into new territory: Exempting vaccinated Australians from travel bans would boost vaccine take up, PM says.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has called on the leaders of Australia’s states and territories to reconsider travel exemptions for people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, saying the measure would boost the number of people willing to get their jabs.

His previous call for vaccinated Australians to be exempted from interstate border bans was rejected amid criticisms they would lead to a vaccine passport.

However, Mr Morrison told Sky News on Thursday evening that was not the plan.

“It’s not what it is, it was just simply saying that if you’ve been vaccinated, that the state governments would recognise that and you’d be able to move around in times like this,” Mr Morrison told host Paul Murray.

I’ve put it to them, they’re not ready to accept that as something you can do.”…

The Prime Minister said rewarding those who had been jabbed by giving them greater freedom during snap restrictions and sudden border closures would encourage more people to get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, there are more and more stories just like this one everywhere: ‘The Single Most Qualified’ mRNA Expert Censored After Discussing Concerns Over Vaccines.

Dr. Robert Malone, the “inventor of mRNA vaccines,” told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson on Wednesday that a broadcast of a podcast he did discussing his concerns with the COVID-19 vaccines was removed from YouTube.

How bout that? But then there are our own personal statements like this from MareeS in the comments on a previous post.

Our family is fully vaccinated against all the bad stuff from childhood, never any question about that. However, my husband had a first jab against the Wu flu early in May, has had three epileptic-type seizures since then (no previous history) and has gone from being a clever, productive artist to someone who sleeps his time awaY more than 12hrs a day and cannot climb stairs unassisted. I am adjusting to the role of carer, our GP is withdrawing from the vaccination program, so make of that what you will.

That is a terrible story which fills me with deep concern. And then there was this by Seco, also in the same comments section.

Two experiences close to home:

– wife’s grandmother, 99 in a nursing home ended up in hospital in April with possible pneumonia. She had the vaccine the day before. Recovered but has since had a stroke.

– brothers’ mother in law had the vaccine and ever since has suffered dementia like symptoms and needs constant care.

But if you try to say a word in public, they will cut you down and turn off your mike.

How do people take such incompetent and dishonest morons seriously?

The vaccination centre at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton.

They bugger everything up but here we are: Merlino takes swipe at national vaccine rollout.

The figures come as Victorian Acting Premier James Merlino again took a swipe at the Commonwealth’s delayed vaccine rollout on Monday morning, saying Australia is falling behind the world. “In terms of where we are right now, we are well behind where we need to be,” he said. “So, when you compare how Australia is going with the rest of the world, we are falling so far behind it’s not funny.”

And just what figures were they?

Victoria has recorded one new local coronavirus case in the past day, as the nation’s leaders meet to discuss the troubled vaccination rollout. Eight new cases were recorded in hotel quarantine. More than 16,000 test results were processed in the past 24 hours and more than 10,900 people received their vaccine doses.

Oh the figures in question refer to the all-but-non-existent pandemic.

Meanwhile, in the US, Ivermectin has crossed an important threshold in that it has shown up today in Instapundit. You never know. The word might eventually get out even to our own Ministers of Health and Chief Medical Officers who always seem to be the last to know.

QUESTION ASKED: Why Has “Ivermectin” Become a Dirty Word?

On December 8, 2020, when most of America was consumed with what The Guardian called Donald Trump’s “desperate, mendacious, frenzied and sometimes farcical” attempt to remain president, the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing on the “Medical Response to Covid-19.”

One of the witnesses, a pulmonologist named Dr. Pierre Kory, insisted he had great news. “We have a solution to this crisis,” he said unequivocally. “There is a drug that is proving to have a miraculous impact.” Kory was referring to an FDA-approved medicine called ivermectin. A genuine wonder drug in other realms, ivermectin has all but eliminated parasitic diseases like river blindness and elephantiasis, helping discoverer Satoshi Ōmura win the Nobel Prize in 2015.

As far as its uses in the pandemic went, however, research was still scant. Could it really be a magic Covid-19 bullet? Kory had been trying to make such a case, but complained to the Senate that public efforts had been stifled, because “every time we mention ivermectin, we get put in Facebook jail.” A Catch-22 seemed to be ensnaring science. With the world desperate for news about an unprecedented disaster, Silicon Valley had essentially decided to disallow discussion of a potential solution — disallow calls for more research and more study — because not enough research and study had been done.

Once, people weren’t allowed to take drugs before they got FDA approval. Now, they can’t talk about them. “I want to try to be respectful because I think the intention is correct,” Kory told the committee. “They want to cut down on misinformation, and many doctors are claiming X, Y, and Z work in this disease. The challenge is, you’re also silencing those of us who are expert, reasoned, researched, and extremely knowledgeable.”

You shouldn’t silence anybody, but that’s a different story although extremely relevant at the present time since try getting Ivermectin mentioned on Facebook or Twitter, never mind The Age or The Oz.

“Under Labor, Victoria has two speeds: locked down or about to be locked down”

Bless my soul, the Victorian Leader of the Opposition has finally made an appearance in the press, with this below from today’s Herald Sun. Picture and all but not quite all of the text. It can only be because it has finally dawned upon the media types who live here that Victoria is about to head into a catastrophic downturn and they are hoping that it will be a Liberal Government that has to take the blame. Went past the billion dollar station at the shrine again this week with not a worker in sight. Meanwhile there are parts of the state where you cannot drink the water and other parts where the power is expected to be out for three weeks. What an insane mess Labor makes of everything they do. The rest is from the all but unknown Michael O’Brien.

WAKING up this morning, Victorians aren’t free. Labor’s slight easing of restrictions hasn’t freed us; we’re just on a slightly longer leash. We have all sacrificed to defeat this latest outbreak. But now it’s time for Labor’s lockdown to end.

In fact, statewide lockdowns should never be used again.

A statewide lockdown should always be a last resort. Sadly, the Andrews government sees it as a first response. Victoria is the only state to endure four lockdowns. Every Victorian has paid a price….

Labor has shown it is willing to throw us back into lockdown at the first opportunity. And we all know Labor will do it again.

And the people making the decisions – Labor ministers and their advisers – have not missed a single pay cheque even while they’ve stopped millions of Victorians from just going to work.

As a proud Victorian I hate to say it but, when it comes to Covid, the NSW [LIBERAL] government has got it right. NSW has been proportionate, not panicked. Sensible steps to localise lockdowns have shown that a whole state doesn’t need to be closed for just a few cases.

The NSW approach has not only helped people stay in work, kept businesses open and kids in school but it’s had a remarkable effect on their confidence….

When NSW had an outbreak on its northern beaches, what did NSW lock down? The northern beaches. When Victoria had an outbreak in a few postcodes, what did the Labor government lock down? All of Victoria.

Under Labor, Victoria has two speeds: locked down or about to be locked down.

Why he didn’t emphasise that NSW is a Liberal State you will have to ask him yourself.

Australia’s tragic media

How independent do you suppose these two stories are?

First: Fox News Heir Spent $20 Million Opposing Trump. First para:

James Murdoch, an heir to the Fox News fortune, spent $20 million opposing Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection while funneling another $100 million through a nonprofit to support leftwing political groups, according to a new report.

And then, second, from The Australian today: Evangelicals’ faith misplaced in Trump. This is the second last para.

In all the circumstances, and given the available choices, voting for Trump was not unreasonable. Idealising him, seeing him as a cultural saviour, learning to hate all his enemies, letting something of his abusive, spiteful spirit seep into your being, that was a terrible mistake.

That is a classical statement from a journalist employed by the newspaper to present the news. There is a difference on the editorial page, where there is a range of views presented, from the astonishingly deep and readable Henry Ergas through to a number of others who are barely worth a glance at the headline put above the waste of newsprint they publish.

But as for the paper itself, it has been and remains deeply on the left and as anti-Trump as the New York Times. It was, you will recall, this same paper that supported Kevin Rudd against John Howard in the 2007 Federal election.

This is part of the tragedy of the times in which we live.
