The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. AG Barr and DAG Rosenstein further determined there was no obstruction. The findings of the Department of Justice are a total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States.”

It’s now official. There was never any collusion between Russia and the Trump Campaign. But everyone knew that, and has always known that. This was just a device to undo the election result. The most interesting outcome at this stage is to appreciate just how well PDT has played this out. He could have brought it to an end at any time, fired Mueller and taken the heat, but let it work itself through to the end.
The media and the left have shown that the media is the left. The Democrats have demonstrated their utter lack of morality. But for all that, there are still immense forces at work that might yet pull the US down, that would make it an ungovernable mess.
Donald Trump is easily the least corrupt person ever to reach high office anywhere. Two years of turning over every rock and nothing, not an indictable offence to be found. He is not a sinless man of no imperfections. But he has run as honest an administration as one is likely to find. First from Drudge.
Australia is by a long chalk the least racist country on the planet. People from everywhere just live here and rub on together. Maybe some tall-poppy syndrome problems, but basically our ethos is “have a go”. No one’s ethnic or racial background is a handicap to getting on in life. Always plenty of luck required, and of course talent, intelligence and the will to succeed. But no one is prevented from having a go. So I was endlessly irritated to find this story at Andrew Bolt: Turkey’s president threats to kill Australians over the Christchurch massacre. And from the Oz:
Mr Erdogan had alleged Australian Brenton Tarrant was targeting Turkey during his attack on two Christchurch mosques, and warned anti-Muslim Australians that if they visit his country they will return home in coffins like their grandfathers did after Gallipoli.
Repulsive and racist. But weird as well. And here is a reply that I find on the mark:
Labor leader Bill Shorten said Mr Erdogan’s “foolish and offensive” remarks stoked disunity and hatred. “Intemperate and regrettable remarks like this only play into the hands of those who seek to divide. They do not protect the peace and security of any nation,” Mr Shorten said.
“Many thousands of Australians and New Zealanders will shortly be heading to Turkey to commemorate the shared sacrifice of our two nations at Gallipoli, and 100 years of friendship since. It is up to all leaders of all countries to stand against hate, to demonstrate that unity makes us stronger, that hope can triumph over fear, and that love is greater than hate.”
Mr Shorten urged Turkey’s leaders to heed to words of the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, inscribed at Anzac Cove: “You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears… After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.”
One-twenty millionth of the Australian population carried out a vile attack on a Mosque. It was neither public policy nor supported by anyone anywhere. This is identity politics at its most absurd. It is always absurd, but this has taken the concept to its farthest and most extreme stupidity.
White Australians may not be strictly answerable for Tarrant’s crime, but we have some big questions to ask ourselves. If you’re an Australian and reading this makes you feel defensive, you should ask them now.”
The only question I have asked myself after reading her hideous rant is how did she get to be such an absolute fool?
And you can find more of the same deep analysis from Rachel Withers, for that is her name, right here.
One of my great interests, going all the way back to having read CIA Diary back in the 1970s, is spy craft which includes false-flag operations. Much too slick for any one person to pull off on his own, specially since he {with three unknown others] attacked two mosques and not just one. This is from the introduction to CIA Diary (1975):
In the past 25 years, the CIA has been involved in plots to overthrow governments in Iran, the Sudan, Syria, Guatemala, Ecuador, Guyana, Zaire and Ghana. In Greece, the CIA participated in bringing in the repressive regime of the colonels. In Chile, The Company spent millions to “destabilize” the Allende government and set up the military junta, which has since massacred tens of thousands of workers, students, liberals and leftists. In Indonesia in 1965, The Company was behind an even bloodier coup, the one that got rid of Sukarno and led to the slaughter of at least 500,000 and possibly 1,000,000 people. In the Dominican Republic the CIA arranged the assassination of the dictator Rafael Trujillo and later participated in the invasion that prevented the return to power of the liberal ex-president Juan Bosch. In Cuba, The Company paid for and directed the invasion that failed at the Bay of Pigs. Some time later the CIA was involved in attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro. It is difficult to believe, or comprehend, that the CIA could be involved in all these subversive activities all over the world.
Just the Deep State in action. So was Tarrant sent in as part of a false-flag operation? Of course not, as he tells you himself in his Manifesto.
Are you a part of any political groups or movements?
I am not a direct member of any organization or group, though I have donated to many nationalist groups and have interacted with many more.
Did the groups you support/are aligned with order or promote your
attack?
No. No group ordered my attack, I make the decision myself. Though I did contact the reborn Knights Templar for a blessing in support of the attack, which was given.
BTW his statement is astonishingly well written, absolutely amazing for a high school grad with no previous evidence of literary abilities. No rambling screed but an articulate well put together document that presents his case as a lawyer’s brief.
The Australian accused of the deadly shooting at two mosques in New Zealand traveled around the globe, including Eastern Europe, Turkey, Pakistan and probably North Korea. Authorities in several countries are probing his trips.
Before his shooting spree left 50 worshipers dead and 40 people injured in Christchurch on Friday, Brenton Harrison Tarrant published a manifesto where the 28-year-old mentioned visiting Pakistan, North Korea, Turkey, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Iceland, Argentina and many other countries. Now, some of these states are investigating what he might have done there and whether he picked up his radical ideas during his travels.
Even to North Korea and never picked up by any security agency! That is truly travelling below the radar, unless, of course, the radar had in this case been turned off.
Racist anti-semitic socialists. Lots of people once thought being a Nazi was the height of political sense. Now they are often just called Democrats. That cover was published by Rolling Stone which is designed to appeal to those who are in and with it.
Rep. Ilhan Omar is once again under fire for using an anti-Semitic trope about the “dual loyalty” of supporters of Israel.
It’s beginning to look like her anti-Semitism is embedded so deeply that she has no conscious thought about Israel and Jews that doesn’t drip with Jew-hatred.
I have no idea whether the Green New Deal will result in a federal climate law two or five or 10 years from now. The proposal clearly has momentum on the left. Since early November, I’ve seen the Green New Deal talked about as a story of Democrats in disarray, or as another example of the party’s turn toward socialism. Both analyses miss the mark. The Green New Deal is one of the most interesting—and strategic—left-wing policy interventions from the Democratic Party in years.
During today’s House Oversight Committee’s interrogation of former Trump fixer Michael Cohen, Tlaib suggested that Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) is a racist for bringing a black “prop” to the hearing [that is, she described Meadows’ black advisor as tokenism and only there to provide cover for the Republicans].
You think such sickening mindsets and policies cannot gather a majority? Nazis and socialists don’t get to take over because they promise to ruin the countries they are governing. They do, of course, and that is inevitable with socialism, but in the meantime there are a lot of lessons that get to be learned the hard way. Look at the picture from the cover of Rolling Stone and then compare them with this video of all the young, idealistic Nazis of the 1930s.
UPDATE: I’ve now watched it through and it is amazing. Hits all the high spots. And remember as I say this, that I am not an American. I am a Canadian-born Australian. But when I hear the American President speak and talk about making America great again, I actually hear him saying, Make Western Civilisation Great Again. His vision should be our vision. The same issues that are alive in the United States are alive here: border protection, the threat of socialism, national defence, restoring economic growth, climate change and defending free speech. These will be the same issues that matter at our own election in a few months time. I just hope the Coalition is up to what it takes to ensure everyone understands what the issues are and what a difference it will make – long term – if Labor wins. YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS SPEECH IF YOU CAN!
UPDATE: PDT’s post-meeting press conference: “sometimes you have to walk”.
You should wind the video back to the beginning of the press conference. The original post is below.
_________
PDT is in Hanoi trying to resolve the Korean War which began 69 years ago and to end the threat of nuclear escalation in North Korea and in a perfect world end all nuclear arms on the Korean Peninsula. This from here.
CHAIRMAN KIM: (As interpreted.) We had exchanged a very interesting dialogue with each other —
PRESIDENT TRUMP: We did.
CHAIRMAN KIM: (As interpreted.) — for about 30 minutes.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Boy, if you could have heard that dialogue, what you would pay for that dialogue. It was good.
So we’re going to have a very busy day tomorrow, and we’ll probably have a pretty quick dinner and a lot of things are going to be solved, I hope. And I think it’ll lead to wonderful — it will lead to, really, a wonderful situation long term. And our relationship is a very special relationship.
Thank you very much everybody. Thank you. See you tomorrow.
Tensions between two of the world’s nuclear powers were raised dramatically Wednesday after Pakistan’s air force said it shot down two Indian warplanes that crossed the disputed Kashmir border and captured each of the aircraft’s pilots.
In America, of course, the media focuses on Michael Cohen’s testimony about nothing. The best comment comes via Powerline.
You would like to laugh at such dark stupidity, but they are a pathetic bunch of lying scum, with Michael Cohen a perfect representation of the way they think and the way they act.
The day the Democrats decided to schedule the House Oversight Committee hearing with Michael Cohen to coincide with Trump’s negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi is the day the Democrats ensured the president’s reelection. It was one of those rare moments of clarity you can imagine in the history books.
The Democrats revealed themselves as partisan hacks while the president was halfway around the world trying to save the lives of millions. That’s not just bad timing, it’s atrocious. And it has little to do with the success or failure of the talks with Kim. No one knows how that will turn out, probably not even the principals themselves. It has do with the priorities of the human race like global survival — what a normal person should care about….
The test for Americans of all political parties, indeed of citizens of all countries, is whether they actually wish Trump well in this endeavor. If they don’t, they are truly evil.
In an hour-long interview, he tackles a range of topics, including the rise of Trump, which he characterises more as the fall of Clinton. (Had Peterson been an American, he says he would have “held his nose and voted for her”.)
I did look high and low for quite a long time to see what I could discover on his attitude to the American President and nowhere could I find a thing until yesterday. This is an unforced error. He was on Q&A the day before and managed to not answer a question on whether he believed in G-d since, as I see it, he does not want to be pigeonholed as basing his arguments on a Christian platform. I understand why he is wary of such associations, since it makes him an easier target for the left. I suppose in its own way, aligning his political views with Hillary also makes him less vulnerable to attack from the left.
But all that aside, he did not have to answer. Lots of ways to have evaded the question, but he chose not to. And we are not in the middle of 2016 with the election before us, and an unknown untried potentially loose cannon is running for President. We are instead more than two years into the soundest, most sensible presidency of my lifetime, going against a wall of stupidity, that I would have thought would align Peterson with the President’s agenda. Not so, it seems. What a complete goose. Anti-Marxist but pro-Hillary. Truly disgusting and dispiriting. A reminder just how wary you have to be about everyone’s political judgement.
