The Democrats and their media enablers, of course. From The Other McCain, complete post.

James Clapper, who was Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in the Obama administrations, was on CNN yesterday and was asked, “Are you concerned that Barr or Durham’s investigation will find wrongdoing and seek to punish former intelligence officials like you?”
The message I’m getting from all this is, apparently what we were supposed to have done was to ignore the Russian interference, ignore the Russian meddling and the threat that it poses to us, and oh, by the way, blown off what the then commander in chief, President Obama, told us to do, which was to assemble all the reporting that we could that we had available to us and put it in one report that the president could pass on to the Congress and to the next administration. And while we’re at it, declassify as much as we possibly could to make it public, and that’s what we did. It’s kind of disconcerting now to be investigated for, you know having done our duty and done what we were told to do by the president.
Rush Limbaugh went off on this yesterday, because what we now know about the “Russian interference” — an illusion of “collusion” created as a pretext to spy on the Trump campaign — exposes Clapper’s investigation as part of political hit-job orchestrated by Democrats. For Clapper to twice say this was done on Obama’s orders is huge.
Which is why so many seek political power even if it the means to taking power leads to the death of Western Civilisation. They won’t have to live through the consequences of what they do so what do they care? The rest of this post was sent to me by a colleague.
I awoke this morning still puzzled about our apparent ‘social justice leaders’ who cannot bring themselves to say ‘Christian’. Last night I read this:
Easter Worshippers or Christians? Obama, Clinton and Other Democrats Accused of Bias.
Basically, when Muslims get killed they are called Muslim, but when we Christians are killed we are called ‘worshippers’. Hillary:and Obama:
I am puzzled why they cannot admit that CHRISTIANS were killed. Here is proof they suffer from Christianophobia.
Here’s what all this means. Obama with 100% certainty knew that Hillary was using an unsecured server to send him emails which is in complete violation of the Espionage Act of the United States. Now read on.
From Ace of Spades:
The big story is, despite the Democrat-Left-Media Complex’s shrill shrieking about impeaching President Trump, the focus is at long last starting to shift towards the real culprits in the entire Russia-Gate Collusion Hoax, Coverup and Attempted Coup (still ongoing) who just happen to be heavily implicated in the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal – what US District Judge Royce Lamberth’s court described as “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”
“…In addition to the Executive Office of the President [Obama], [former assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division, Bill] Priestap also named “Clinton aides Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson, Jacob Sullivan, and Justin Cooper; former Clinton information technology staffer Bryan Pagliano, the State Department, Secret Service, and Washington-based law firm Williams and Connolly…”
According to [Judicial Watch], Priestap also testified that nearly 49,000 Clinton server emails were reviewed as a result of a search warrant for her material on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Weiner was then the wayward husband of Huma Abedin, the vice chair of Clinton’s 2016 campaign for president.
“This astonishing confirmation, made under oath by the FBI, shows that the Obama FBI had to go to President Obama’s White House office to find emails that Hillary Clinton tried to destroy or hide from the American people,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “No wonder Hillary Clinton has thus far skated – – Barack Obama is implicated in her email scheme…”
Or then there’s the Instapundit version:
JUDICIAL WATCH: JW announced today that a senior FBI official admitted, in writing and under oath, that the agency found Clinton email records in the Obama White House, specifically, the Executive Office of the President.
Sanctimony in action. Unbelievably shallow.
Yet the media, most of the academic world, large slices of the American voting population would go back to the most incompetent presidency in history. Eight years of decline and not a single accomplishment I can think of during all of the years he was in office. Now he even wants to claim the recovery is due to him. And in a sense it is, since DJT could only have become president because Obama had preceded him.
You really do have to wonder about political reporting. This is a brief story on Glenn Beck’s reaction to Donald Trump:
Conservative radio host Glenn Beck called Donald Trump a “son of a bitch,” and panned his performance in Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate.
On his Friday broadcast, Beck argued that the GOP front-runner was a “big loser” in the first showdown between Republican candidates.
He is the most arrogant candidate next to the candidate called Barack Obama,” he said. “I mean, there’s nobody I’ve seen more arrogant than him.
“This guy will be Barack Obama times 10 with enemy lists,” Beck added of Trump’s unpopularity with other Republicans. “[He is] really dangerous.”
Beck admitted that Trump’s inclusion produced entertaining political theater, calling it the “best presidential debate” he has ever seen.
“I could watch this as sports [if] my country wasn’t dying,” Beck quipped.
Trump instantly drew boos on Thursday evening by refusing to rule out a 2016 Oval Office bid as an independent.
My guess is that Glenn wasn’t being lighthearted.
There are many times a year that I think that the only reason I can find that there is a shred of sanity left in the world is by reading Ann Coulter. Here she is, reminding us why we invaded Iraq in the first place. That this world historical victory for the West was actively subverted by GWB’s successor is now part of the historical record, if you can follow the logic of events.
Megan Kelly asked [Jeb] Bush: “Knowing what we know now, would you have authorized the invasion?”
The correct answer is, according to Ann:
Now that we know that a half-century of Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration Act would result in a country where a man like Barack Obama could be elected president, and then, purely out of antipathy to America, would withdraw every last troop from Iraq, nullifying America’s victory and plunging the entire region into chaos, no, I would not bother removing dangerous despots in order to make America safer.
Instead, I would dedicate myself to overturning our immigration laws, ending the anchor-baby scam and building a triple-layer fence on the border, so that some future Republican president could invade Iraq without worrying about a foreign-elected president like Obama coming in and giving it away.
The reality is that there is no answer that matters any more. America is sinking and the rest of us are going to have to work out what to do for ourselves.
What we have at the link are Top 12 Most Libertarian Quotes by Barack Obama. It’s put up by Reason magazine which is a libertarian organisation. The quotes are from Obama, lying as usual. But the interesting part for me is that for half of what Obama said, I wouldn’t have agreed with his statements either given the context in which they were placed. Libertarian philosophy is about as far from reality as Marxism but from an anarchist set of presumptions.
We need governments and war will find you. A pragmatic conservatism within a capitalist economy armed to the teeth is all that I can think of as the way forward in this messy world of ours. That is not the values projected by these quotes from Obama, nor are we better off given the way that Obama ended up having lied about what he said.
That is from John Hinderaker at Powerline, who adds:
There are many reasons why Barack Obama is unfit to be president, but one of the most basic is, he just isn’t smart enough to handle the job.
It’s not said enough and it’s not part of the national conversation enough. These same clowns laughed at GWB, but when serious stupid enters the White House, they say not a word, in part because they are too stupid to notice themselves. The post comes with a Ramirez cartoon as well but first an older, more famous Obama selfie.
Barack Obama’s ignorance of almost everything relevant to politics and history is a phenomenon that never gets called out by the knee-padded media in the US. So on he goes, this time attempting to excuse the barbarity of the “Islamic State” by saying that Christians have been just as bad. There have been wars between Islam and the Christian West, sometimes fought in Europe (Tours 732 A.D.; Vienna 1529/1683), sometimes in the Middle East (Crusades 11th-12th centuries) and sometimes on the Mediterranean (Lepanto 1571 A.D.). These were defensive wars if ever there have been. We wished to preserve our way of life against an invading enemy.
But if you are looking for a truly horrific story of invasion and cruelty, you need to look at the virtually unknown Mughal invasion of India. I knew nothing of it until I came across it reading through Will and Ariel Durant’s eleven volumes on the history of civilisation. They begin with these words, from which they go on to show in complete detail just how sound their judgment is:
The Mohammedan Conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precarious thing, whose delicate complex of order and liberty, culture and peace may at any time be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within.
It is a story that is being repeated today in the midst of our own Western civilisation. It is being exactly repeated everywhere the Islamic State manages to find its way to power. I am not interested in debating theological issues with Muslims. But I am very interested in protecting our way of life from marauders who undertake their invasions in the name of Islam. The sickening inanities of Obama are pathetic in their ignorance, but are vastly dangerous in lulling us into any kind of limits on the defences we build against an enemy that remains as terrifying and barbaric today as it was a thousand years ago.
That under no circumstances would I ever support Chris Christie for President was resolved for me the moment he actively subverted Mitt Romney’s own presidential run in the last week of the 2012 campaign. If Romney won, Christie could not run in 2016. Therefore he did everything he could to ensure a Romney loss, with the effort made to make Obama look like a man of action in the midst of “Superstorm Sandy” the crowning moment. Were it not for the storm, Romney would have won. Were it not for Christie, Romney might still have won. But irrespective of whether or not it made a difference, that Christie did what he did has made him poison for me, aside from the fact that he is a leftist clown.
So now he is at it again, trying to knock off Scott Walker in Wisconsin. Think of this:
The RGA, chaired by Gov. Christie (R-N.J.), has been under pressure in recent days to do more to help Walker, a tea party favorite who rocketed to political stardom after he curbed bargaining rights for most public workers in his state. The Weekly Standard reported Thursday that there were brewing suspicions on the right that Christie, as RGA chairman, has been “undercutting” Walker, his potential rival for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
Just showing form, merely form, expect nothing else, this is how he is. That no one ties it to Romney makes me think Christie is the one the established Republican Party wants. But here Obama seems to be on exactly the same side as they both seem to have the same agenda. OBAMA GOES TO WISCONSIN IN BID TO OUST GOV. WALKER.
President Barack Obama is making a rare appearance on the campaign trail just one week before Election Day in an effort to help a Democratic challenger oust Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker from office.
I would think that Obama is poison but he will do what he can. Also disgusting but normal politics. You would just think that just maybe the Republicans would understand that Walker is a potentially more formidable opponent than Christie given the efforts they are making to push him out. Politics in the US is just too hard for us outsiders since it is impossible to follow the money or whatever else it is that counts.
