It was obvious to some from the start. These people are despicable and she writes it in her book!
There is a view I sometimes come across that argues that The Coalition should willingly lose the election since things are certain to crater over the next year or so and therefore, Labor will be blamed for everything. That way, The Coalition will be able to win in three years with an even more solid majority.
Even more fantastic is the belief that being in opposition will allow the Libs/Nationals to sort things out so that when they return in 2025 they will be able to govern from strength based on the newfound wisdom they will have generated.
There is a lot of crazy around at the moment, but that is up there with the worst of them.
Witness the United States under Joe Biden. The Democrats are perfectly aware that there is a large possibility that they will lose the presidency in 2024 along with Congress. They therefore are going about doing everything to fulfil their insane agenda right now. They also believe they will also likely be able to again cheat their way back in, but are hurrying things along just in case they might really lose.
So for Australia. Labor is not a party of sense and moderation with a slightly socialist bent. They are out and out full-on Marxists who will do as much damage as they possibly can. They will wreck the economy, they will open our borders, they will demolish the private sector, they will further subvert the education system, they will socialise every aspect of society they are able.
These are not moderates. Albanese is from the Socialist Left and he means every stupidity he says, plus all of the others that he now keeps to himself.
It would be a madness to allow Labor to govern if it is at all possible to prevent it by not electing them in the first place.

On the editorial page of The Oz today there was an article by Adam Creighton with the following heading: Trump’s star rising but he’s dead wrong about stolen election. How incredible and how disappointing, I said to myself, that the only journalist in Australia who writes honestly about the American political system has now gone over to the dark side. And then I read the article and what was absolutely clear was that the heading had completely misrepresented the contents of the story. In fact, when I opened the story at the link, this is now how the headline reads:

Trump screened and lauded a new documentary, 2000 Mules, at his Florida mansion for prominent friends and fans last Friday night. It was produced by conservative provocateur and author Dinesh D’Souza and a Texas not-for-profit, True the Vote.
Using vast troves of anonymised mobile phone location data – the kind that helped police arrest rioters on Capitol Hill on January 6 – the documentary suggests at least 2000 individuals in five key swing states visited at least 10 voter drop boxes and five left-wing activist organisations during the voting period. Some “mules” – those dropping off multiple ballots – visited drop boxes more than 50 times, it claims.
The show also presented CCTV footage of people dropping multiple ballots off at strange hours, some wearing gloves (and a T-shirt; it clearly wasn’t to keep warm) at all hours of the night.
Of course it was a stolen election. What a notion that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were preferred to Donald Trump and Mike Pence! The question is whether these people will try the same in November for the Congressional elections. My guess is that they cannot be stopped. As Adam wrote:
Yet in 2022 it’s no exaggeration to say the Democratic Party has become obsessed with maintaining pandemic voting rules beyond the pandemic, casting anyone who wants to return to pre-2020 voting rules as a racist who is intent on “suppressing the vote”. The documentary made more than $1 million in under 12 hours on video streaming platform Rumble and its subscription platform Locals beginning at noon on Saturday. The take was “good enough to put ‘2000 Mules‘ in the estimated box office top ten for the weekend of May 6th to May 8th,” according to the video platform.
As of publication deadline on Wednesday, the film was earning an enthusiastic user rating of 7.4 on the 10-point scale of definitive film industry site IMDB.
“2000 Mules” is available for purchase at $29.99 on D’Souza’s Locals channel or for free with purchase of an annual $50 subscription to his channel. The controversial film had a limited theatrical release last week and is also available for purchase or rent on SalemNow.com.

I have suspected for a long time that the American government, nominally under Joe Biden, is not only trying to subvert our civilisation, but they are doing it in a way so that no one can be of any doubt that it is entirely intentional. The point of Orwell’s 1984 was to ensure that we would be aware of efforts by government to undermine our freedoms while we weren’t looking. Now it is all done right before our eyes, not only with no effort made to hide what they are doing, but done in such a way that no one can be in any doubt that what is being done is deliberate. Even the meme below is too subtle for most of the left:
So this is what they have done to rub our noses in it. This was part of a presentation by Tucker Carlson. In its own way they have allowed this bit of her history to be widely distributed because it will help to diminish the reality of just how serious this issue is. Can someone this inane really be a threat to the rest of us? And the answer most certainly is that it is a major change in how we are governed and these people are just as serious about their aims as Lenin was in 1917.

In many ways to have such an apparent lightweight as the agency head is done to divert attention away from just how serious this effort is to undermine free speech and community discussion of major issues. Sure she’s a dill, but why is that almost all we are discussing? Why isn’t the issue that anyone at all has been appointed to such a position?
Let me start with this, which is in all essentials the promise being made to Australians by the ALP: however bad things are now, we will make things worse, or as it says at the link but in reference to the US: Red states [ie States governed by Republicans] top blue states [ie states governed by Democrats] for low taxes and best economies.
I just sat through the first of the Sky News debates. The Prime Minister explained one policy position after another along with trying to weave in an understanding of how limited are the resources available to deal with the phenomenal costs involved. But what was most extraordinary to me was the absence of any actual proposal by Labor to shape any specific policy outcome.
The ALP plan, as usual, is to introduce some unaffordable freebie welfare program, then lose government and let the Libs work out how to pay for it.
Of course, the AP pitch is to say that had they been the government everything would have turned out better than they had. Meanwhile, they will fix our non-existent global warming problems by crashing our carbon-based power-generating system and will eliminate the non-existent racism the supposedly ruins social relations in this country by blaming everything on people who ancestors have come – either recently or in the distant past – from Northern Europe.
There really is no getting away from how dumb Daniel Andrews is, with this the latest: Dan Andrews rips into Scott Morrison as the Prime Minister calls for end to hated Covid isolation rules: ‘I’m in the business of taking advice from the experts’.
Everyone in politics has “experts” to draw upon. We elect our leaders for their judgment; we elect them in the hope they will be able to make sensible decisions based on the advice they are given. The PM is trying to emphasise that the lockdowns and closed borders are based on decisions made by the premiers, and if things were up to him, many of the restrictions now in place would be lifted. Andrews has thus helped the PM get his message across. It is Andrews who is responsible for having implemented the world’s longest lockdown, and for keeping the present restrictions in place.
As for taking advice, it has been clear from the start that it is Andrews who has made all the major decisions in Victoria, and that the only serious consultation he does is with those who do the polling. That is what we have had to put up with since the start. But if he has not had a variety of opinions offered by the “experts” he is surrounded by, Victoria really is an idiocracy from the very top all the way down. But that is not how it worked out. The people who do the polling have told him that the majority of voters in Victoria prefer the lockdowns and that is what we have had, and will continue to have until voter sentiment changes.
There he is, a political leader, Premier of the State, but still doesn’t know what the job he has actually is. It is to make decisions based on all of the options that others propose.
That he has been singularly inept in the decisions he has made is just how it is. He will leave Victoria a bankrupt mess, wrecking the world’s most liveable city in the process. And there is no doubt that the mess is directly attributable to the string of phenomenally bad decisions Daniel Andrews has made while Premier.

Dowd and a Wall Street insurance analyst with whom he has teamed, concludes the CDC data show the Millennial generation suffered a “Vietnam War event,” with more than 61,000 excess deaths from March 2021 to February 2022.
That is more than just fraud, but mass murder if it’s true. But so far this only in my view makes it to second place. Above it is Global Warming about which I received a note today which said this:
Pursuing a Net Zero by 2050 target will jeopardise our energy independence and national security and raise the cost of living for mainstream Australians without making any discernible impact on global temperatures.
I see phrases like this all the time: “without making any discernible impact on global temperatures” as if this is a real problem that needs to be solved but we are perhaps either not doing enough or doing the wrong thing. For myself, the entire issue is a fraud. There is no problem that needs solving. There will be enormous costs across the world but nothing will be achieved since it is a non-existent problem, much in the same way as I think about Covid. This is not the return of the Great Plague, in the same way that Global Warming hysteria is not directed at an actual problem that is in need of solution.
The Number One fraud, to me, is and has been for a long time, modern macroeconomic theory with its fundamental equation learned by every socialist in their first year in economics: Output is the sum of Consumer Demand [C], Private Investment [I] and Public Spending [G]: Y=C+I+G.
So if there is unemployment then all the government needs to do is increase its level of spending [G] and the problem is solved.
The inflation in the US followed by the eventual collapse in its economy will demonstrate just how insane – and also fraudulent – this policy is. Trillions have been wasted over the years in pursuing this agenda with no success at any time ever in history anywhere.
But while the cretins who are funding their own lives along with their mates will do very well out of it, the rest of us will need to scramble just to stay ahead of the pack. See Venezuela (and Cuba, and the former Soviet Union) for examples of just how disastrous such policies can be.
