Australia is the featured Zero Covid Catastrophe

Does this sound like anywhere you are familiar with: ‘Zero COVID’ catastrophe: participating nations see new records across the board?

Zero COVID, the idea that heavy-handed government edicts and population controls can permanently eliminate a coronavirus from a country, is now failing spectacularly everywhere it is being tried. You might not read about it in western corporate press agencies, but Zero COVID nations are seeing explosions in COVID-19 cases across the board. The widely praised “success story” countries that followed the radical ideology that is Zero COVID have not only failed to contain a virus, but are now witnessing the uncontrolled spread of that virus in their population centers. The governments committed to this pseudoscientific, totalitarian adventure are scrambling for options, and responding by locking down their nations and further violating the rights of their citizens. The lid has flown off the Zero COVID pressure cooker, revealing the shortcomings of such a reckless ideological endeavor.

Guess what? Australia is the featured example!!

Australia Australia is arguably the most dedicated large nation to a Zero COVID strategy. The country has been closed off from the vast majority of the world since the beginning of COVID Mania. Even many Australian citizens have been unable to enter or leave the country. Australia has pursued so many lockdowns that it’s pretty much impossible to keep track of what number we’re currently at. Zero COVID has been an unmitigated disaster, as Canberra’s elimination strategy has unsurprisingly failed to permanently move cases to zero. Twitter avatar for @ianmSCIM @ianmSC Sydney announced today that they’re extending their lockdown again after the initial order & first extension failed to control the outbreak I really do think they’re getting close though, maybe just a few thousand more lockdowns and they’ll finally eliminate COVID from the earth

On Thursday, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia’s two largest cities, enacted yet another lockdown. This will be Melbourne’s fifth lockdown in the span of a year and a half. Australia’s lockdowns have been infamously ruthless.  In some places, lockdowns meant citizens were only allowed to leave their homes for one hour a day, and they were not allowed to travel outside of a certain radius from their homes. In many places, the act of protesting is illegal, and it will be met with by riot police. Australia has also enacted mandatory quarantine camps for citizens who are privileged enough to be allowed to return to the country.

I think they’re laughing at us, but it really is a tragedy. This is the summary from the end of the article.

Every country that has embraced the radical notion of Zero COVID has ended up failing to contain a virus and/or failing to accept that the costs of attempting to contain a virus have been exponentially worse than the benefits of containing the virus. The promised “cures” have been infinitely worse than the disease. There are no longer any “success stories” involving nations using tyrannical means in an attempt to stop a virus. Zero COVID, as any rational person could have predicted a long time ago, has failed in spectacular fashion.

And safe. Just don’t talk about that little 13-year-old Michigan boy who died in his sleep three days after receiving his second Pfizer vaccine dose.

4,450 Breakthrough COVID Cases, 79 Deaths Confirmed Among Fully Vaccinated Population In Massachusetts.

According to new numbers from the Massachusetts Department of Health, there are 4,450 breakthrough COVID cases and 79 deaths among the fully vaccinated population in the state.

Ivermectin reduces “the severity of infection” with Covid-19, according to the Pasteur Institute.

The Pasteur Institute is fueling the debate on ivermectin. The research center unveiled on July 12 a study on the effects of this antiparasitic treatment against Covid-19, which concludes that “taking this drug at standard doses makes it possible to reduce in an animal model the symptoms and the severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection ”.

I have taken the title because it’s so appropriate: BACK TO THE STONE AGE: Europe Announces Plan for Carbonless Future. There are many bits to savour but this particularly stands out:

We are now going back five centuries to start the comparison! But I like this best from this other story in The Age/SMH which deals with the same bit of news: Europe is provoking the world with its controversial plan to fight climate change. There you find:

On Friday China is expected to release details of a domestic emissions-trading market aimed at helping it to meet its target of peak emissions in 2030 and net zero emissions by 2060.

And that is NET zero emissions, which is different from zero emissions. I am sure the Chinese cannot believe what complete idiots we in the West have become. Not sure I can believe it myself but the evidence is overwhelming.

Of course, there is also this to consider: Report: More vaccine deaths last week than COVID-19 deaths. And given that three of the four photos are of young women, this might also be of interest: Worldwide, women are reporting worse side effects after COVID vaccinations than men. In June, the Swiss government released data showing 68.7% of reported side effects to COVID vaccines came from women. In the US, that percentage was 79.1% for the first 13.7 million doses given to people — 61.2% of which had been administered to women.

The one certainty is that if any of this is true, no one in government (or the media) are going to tell you.

I read the words, and then read them again, and so I will share but it is still hard to fathom. I am obviously missing something since our senior politicians cannot be this out of it. As you read the following, bear in mind that the word “ambitious” is apparently the new synonym for insane.

Australia will target running the electricity grid entirely from solar and wind generation by 2025 under a 100 per cent renewable target laid out by the power system operator….

The ambitious goal – putting the nation on track to lead the world transitioning to clean energy – has been set by the new boss of the Australian Energy Market Operator, who said it would mark “uncharted territory” for the country as it works out how to integrate more renewables into the power system as old coal plants face retirement.

Still, integrating massive amounts of renewables faces several hurdles. Hurdles, are there? But look, they have a whole four years to work things out so why worry?

And what role is the media playing in promoting fear and misinformation?

They lock us in our homes and threaten to leave us there until we take an untried non-vaccine and then describe letting us out of the homes we have been locked into as “freedom”. This is a “deadly, invisible enemy” that has killed virtually no one. The editorial is even more bizarre and hysterical. Anyone who takes medical advice from a newspaper – a from paper which has never mentioned the possible cures provided by Ivermectin and HCQ –  deserves what they get. Here’s today’s editorial: Call to Arms in freedom fight.

Today, a “Call to Arms” in the Herald Sun is being led by Australia’s brightest scientific minds who have joined forces to urge the public to get vaccinated, arguing that Covid is more insidious than the ultra-rare side effects attached to some vaccines.

The Academy of Science has launched a public campaign demystifying the risks of vaccines as a rational counterpoint to individual hesitancy or some of the dangerous but active anti-vaxxer scaremongering littering social media platforms.

It comes as anti-vaccine zealots are planning to target GP clinics with conspiracy propaganda. Such uninformed views need to be challenged at every turn.

And if this “vaccine” should turn out to damage our health, as it seems to have done to tens of thousands of others already, what do we do then? If you want to understand a struggle for freedom, head off to Cuba: the fellow in the photo below was not being arrested for refusing to take an experimental vaccine.

Freedom is based on individual rights and individuals being left to apply their own judgment. Covid no longer seems to be a major medical problem but it is certainly a political one.

PDT speech to CPAC

Since YouTube deletes Trump video, freezes CPAC account all you can get is the transcript. This is what has been done.

YouTube deleted a video of former President Donald Trump from the American Conservative Union’s account and prevented the group from live-streaming the former president’s Sunday CPAC speech.

In a statement, ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said the group learned that its account had been frozen for seven days over a video from Friday in which Mr. Trump announces his class-action lawsuit against the Silicon Valley titans such as Google and YouTube.

That loss of access to its video account meant the ACU, which runs the Conservative Political Action Conference, could not upload Mr. Trump’s speech or any other live content from its CPAC 2021 Part 2 in Dallas over the weekend.

“ACU believes YouTube was offended by sound medical research conducted by the Smith Center for Infectious Diseases & Urban Health and Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Former President Donald Trump referenced the study in the video that YouTube removed, saying, ‘doctors and medical groups have been barred from these platforms for posting about therapeutics such as hydroxychloroquine … now, most recent studies say [the drug is] effective in combating the virus,’” the group’s statement said.

The ACU said that “clearly, Google’s political biases heavily influence YouTube’s definitions of ‘misinformation’” and accused the tech giant of favoring “the political beliefs of Google executives … over the free speech rights of Google users.”
