What a waste of time she is

And what will you get in return? What a completely useless waste of time! A Margaret Thatcher is the rarest of political leaders. She is not one of those.

Carrying the load for the whole of Western Civilisation

The Battle of QuebecQueenston HeightsLundy’s LaneVimy RidgeDeippeJunoMoscow 1972, not to forget Laura Secord. And now the Battle of Parliament Hill, Ottawa. You don’t want to mess with Canadians, when they’re really angry. And they are really angry.

And bless them, they are carrying the load for the whole of Western Civilisation.

I suspect the people who teach Canadian history don’t even know most of these moments, but what they show is that Canadians will not surrender when there is a battle before them.

Why is everyone so frightened?

By far the deepest insights into the pandemic, and the resistance by the truckers, is provided by David Solway, with this is his best effort yet. There is an agenda in play, and whether you believe it or not, you should pay attention because once we have gone beyond the point of no return, there will be no return. Even as it is, the fear that so many now have of this covid-flu is astonishing. Virtually no one dies, our hospitals are not overrun, while the cornonavirus keeps getting milder as each new iteration is revealed. Yet we are led by completely hysterical political fools who insist they are saving us from much worse.

This is David’s latest article, ‘Pandemic’ Truths: Time for a New Narrative. Here is the central point, but found only towards the end.

According to famed German economist Christian Woolf, the pandemic shutdown was part of a larger strategy whose purpose was to collapse the world economy and bring in a digital or programmable currency controlled by a central bank. “What we are witnessing now,” Woolf writes, “is an attempt to provoke the greatest social chaos by every conceivable means, to wait until the chaos has reached its maximum intensity, and then, with the help of a panacea called ‘universal basic income’, to move from a situation of maximum chaos to one of total control.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has arrived at the same conclusion. The official Covid response mechanism was pre-planned and deployed to further the aims of the Great Reset. When one recalls that many world leaders and influential individuals are graduates of Schwab’s Young Global Leaders school, including Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern, Tony Blair, Emmanuel Macron, Justin Trudeau, Boris Johnson, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and many more, global and procedural uniformity among 186 countries becomes understandable.

The fear everywhere is so unreasonable but it is stoked to the highest extent possible on every occasion. Other than the truckers in Canada, there is no serious movement across the world to undo these mandates and let us get back to our old way of life.

The striking similarity between the threat of global warming and covid

The most striking fact is the similarity between the threat of global warming and covid. There just is a fairly large proportion of the voting population who are susceptible to such fears who can be led around by those who offer safety. We are being driven towards a mediaeval outcome, with the “elite” being those who promise action to save us from these perils, and there is no arguing with these terrified political morons who are lining up to support them. They are determined to be saved even if there is no danger whatsoever.

Just how terrified so many are about covid may be seen with the flocking across the world to vaxxinations of experimental injections for which there are endless statistics on just how dangerous they are. I know this and the data are easy to find. But the political lemming-class who follow their leaders never look and ignore whatever evidence they turn up should they ever come across any of it.

The absence of evidence of global warming is so striking that it seems to demonstrate a philosophical hunger for catastrophist scenarios. Snowfalls are just a thing of the past really was a statement once made, and like every other forecast has proven utterly untrue. Nevertheless, the will to be believe remains and cannot be reversed.

A large proportion of the population resist personal freedom and prefer becoming a subject class tended to by those with political power. Our way of life is disappearing, along with our wealth and our freedom. Some of us preferred it that way, but most of us apparently do not.

Think about this: Understanding the Covid Odds. The author thinks he is going to settle the concerns about the dangers of covid. His opening:

It’s obviously not easy to give up fear of Covid-19, to judge from a recent survey showing that the vaccinated are actually more frightened than the unvaccinated. Another survey found that most Democratic voters are so worried that they want to make it illegal for the unvaccinated to leave home. But before you don another mask or disinfect another surface, before you cheer on politicians and school officials enforcing mandates, consider your odds of a fatal Covid case once you’ve been vaccinated.

So here is the risk based on a study of more than a million Americans undertaken by the NIH and CDC.

The researchers report that none of the healthy people under 65 had a severe case of Covid that required treatment in an intensive-care unit. Not a single one of these nearly 700,000 people died, and the risk was minuscule for most older people, too. Among vaccinated people over 65 without an underlying medical condition, only one person died. In all, there were 36 deaths, mostly among a small minority of older people with a multitude of comorbidities: the 3 percent of the sample that had at least four risk factors. Among everyone else, a group that included elderly people with one or two chronic conditions, there were just eight deaths among more than 1.2 million people, so their risk of dying was about 1 in 150,000.

If these are the kinds of odds that worry you, there is then this at the conclusion.
`
If those odds still aren’t enough to assuage your dread of Covid, consider one more statistic, based on Ioannidis’s analysis of data from Covid tests and seroprevalence surveys. He estimates that in the United States, a nation of 331 million people, there have been a total of 250 million to 350 million Covid infections since the pandemic began. While that estimate includes some people who were infected more than once, it seems clear that the vast majority of Americans have already survived an infection and acquired natural immunity, many without being aware of it. Many don’t realize—and a horde of journalists and public officials are working hard to keep them ignorant—that their enemy today is not a virus in the air but the fear in their minds.
`

We are dealing with political fools. These are the inheritors of a great political tradition, which will never be passed on to the generation to come.

Pierre Poilievre to run for leader of the Canadian Conservatives

After the collapse of support for Erin O’Toole, and his removal from leadership, Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre announced Saturday he will be running for the Conservative Party’s leadership.

I know only this, but what I see so far I like a lot.

And this is the interim leader who I also like quite a lot.

“Put the arguments aside…”

I appreciate that The Oz puts a range of views on its editorial page so that there is usually something for everyone, but I have to say that the superficiality and phenomenal ignorance of Ms Katrina Grace Kelly does try the nerves. It was her first four words that captured just how dull what she wrote was:

Put the arguments aside over whether it was wrong or right, and focus on what is significant – namely, the emotions that were expressed. On Australia Day eve, when in the presence of Scott Morrison, Grace Tame was visibly discomfited. Tame presented as angry and disgusted with the Prime Minister. These were personal feelings but, in their display, Tame conveyed the public mood of a large cohort.

If you “put the arguments aside” there is nothing left other than empty emotion. I realise Australian of the Year has tended to become Victim of the Year, but how astonishing is all of this. Anyway, I will go direct to the comments since this is obviously not a place into which I should venture. The first half dozen classified under “Most Liked”.

I quote: On Australia Day eve, when in the presence of Scott Morrison, Grace Tame was visibly discomfited. Tame presented as angry and disgusted with the Prime Minister. These were personal feelings but, in their display, Tame conveyed the public mood of a large cohort. Newsflash: Tame has done no such thing. She’s conveyed the mood of Leftist ideologues who never liked, will never like and will never, ever vote for Scott Morrison. Moreover, Tame doesn’t not speak for me.

Seriously! has anyone actually travelled to regional Vic or even the CBD? Whole streets of boarded up shops. Victoria is a ghost town. Most of them now unfortunately have migrated to Qld.  Please don’t tell me they blame Morrison for any of the dismantling of Victoria. Speak to any sensible, normal person in Victoria and Daniel Andrews is despised.

Meanwhile in Qld, Anna is delighted about the Labor voting Victorians pouring into her state, many with her beliefs, of high debt and crook hospital systems are acceptable, ( until, of course, it affects them) as the Gold and Sunshine Coasts reel under the invasion of Southerners waving wads of money to get them to move, and pressure from Real Estate agents to move on, that is until they realise unless they downsize, there is nowhere to go, and not many want to move to the beachless, public service town of Brisbane. Qld. won the election for The Libs last time, and are likely to lose it for him this time, as their Premier “saved” them, and most would vote her back in tomorrow. Our country is coming to its nemesis as to which way to go, to follow the US on its path to semi destruction, to honour wokeness, or stay a strong country holding onto the beliefs of Democracy.  It’s your call.

So Dan Andrews locks down and ruins Victoria, and Scomo gets the blame? Give it a rest.

OMG! Down south suffering from the longest lockdown in the world by DA! No problems in Victoria caused by DA! ScoMo  is the one and only to blame for everything from the sun coming up in the morning to the stars coming out at night!

Um, there were lockdowns in Victoria that meant people from outside the state couldn’t go to Victoria, which the writer just seems to conveniently forget. As for Grace Tame, she acted like a petulant ungracious child. Supporting her behaviour demonstrates your own misunderstanding of the respect that should shown to our PM, especially when holding an important civic office such as Australian of the Year. Finally, we have all had a gut full of Australians of the Year parading themselves around as if they run the place, just as Tame has done. She was a very poor choice.I find it infuriating to constantly read media reports of a state minister or premier blaming the federal government for the failure of their own policies. It is worse when the journalists covering the story never point out the blame is misplaced.

It is worse when the journalists covering the story never point out the blame is misplaced. Then there are opinion pieces like this attempting to reinforce the blame shift. Morrison and his government had no say over the lockdowns in any state. It is the same with aged care, the federal government supply the funds but the states are the ones who (mis)spend it. Use an article like this as exhibit one of why the public distrust all politicians equally as much as main stream media

Lots more just like these.
