The corruption in the US is spectacular, but what gets me is that the people on the left stay on the left. They never seem to have enough.
The media especially. They must see even more of it than I do but they never waiver. If the press would buckle we might see a change but these people are solidly stupid.
Law of Markets 
Right see Left as wrong, but Left see Right as evil ((Krauthammer). So Left stay left lest they lose their apparent moral compass.
Um, they’ve been paid enormous sums of $ and have assets which might not survive an audit. Riches vs minimum wage or unemployment for most of them.
